What I Have Learned About Bed Bugs and Bed Bug Treatments!
Until a couple of years ago we did not know very much about bed bugs because they were not a factor in our business. I started reading about the resurgence in the Northeast U.S. and Canada. We decided to have some training courses specific to bed bugs and after these we bought some of the pesticide materials and equipment for treatment. It was obvious these were frustrating insects to deal with. Very soon afterwards we started getting a few calls. We went out and evaluated and performed some treatments doing exactly what we were told to do in our training classes. We spent many hours being thorough and treating every screwhole, crack and crevice around the rooms. After spending all this time we still were getting a large number of callbacks. I was very frustrated when upon reentry I observed live Bed bugs nesting in areas I had just treated 2 weeks earlier. I said to myself "There has to be a better way". I started doing research and talking to expert entomologists and I kept hearing about HEAT. There were many manufactures of this equipment using either propane or electric. I finally settled on purchasing electric equipment from Temp-Air because of the reliability and training they provide. We have now completed many heat treatments for bed bugs and our results are great! It makes me feel so much better to be able to eliminate these frustrating pests. Give us a call and we can give you a fair price to eliminate your bed bugs.!
